A typical sash window repair would involve removing the old sashes, repair the frame, replace the cords and attach weights, and adjust to make sure counterbalance operates effectively.

Sash Window Replacement
If the sash window is beyond economical repair then we can replace either the single sash window, or you may need to consider replacing all the windows on the same façade. If a single sash window needs replacing we would need to discuss with you the options of what would be best for the rest of the façade of your property.
If we can’t repair, we may need to have some bespoke joinery carried out to replace the window in the same style, or it may be more economic to replace all the windows in the same style.
Sash windows can be replaced with traditional timber, and they are also available in PVC and Aluminimum.
